The greener the vegetable/fruit, the higher it’s chlorophyll capacity!

Antioxidant Properties

Green foods are abundant in antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin, as well as beta-carotene, Vitamin K (phylloquinone), Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), folate (B9), pyridoxine (B6), and various phytonutrients. Alkalizing Effect

Life on Earth hinges on maintaining suitable pH levels within living organisms and cells. For human survival, a meticulously regulated pH level of approximately 7.4 in the bloodstream (within the slightly alkaline range of 7.35 to 7.45) is imperative. It’s a very strict balance that body keeps regulate itself.

The body perpetually engages in reactions to adapt to such variations, ensuring the acid-base balance remains within the designated healthy range. However some of the processes in the body makes the cell environment alkalic or happens in the certain pH levels.

Many green foods have an alkalizing effect on the body, helping to balance its pH levels. In this context, it’s important to know that cancer cells love acidic environment and hate alkaline environment! Therefore, consuming food that creates alkalic environment will reduce the risk of DNA damages and cancer.
